Shanghai Yodak Cardio-Thoracic Hospital locates at number 218 Long Cao road, Xuhui district, Shanghai city; invested and established by Shenzhen Charity Group, Yodak is the first non–profit special cardio-thoracic hospital in China. It has gross area near 30000 square meters, with 400 beds in the first stage, and near 1000 beds in the second stage.
The hospital has a technique team centering on the director of the hospital and the academic leaders of the relative office, over 70% of them have Doctor Degree or vice-professor technique title; one after another, most of them have many years’ actual clinical practices and advanced training in those famous international cardiovascular research institutes of U.S.A, Germany, and Australia etc. In the meantime, the hospital brings in lots of international advanced medical apparatus of cardio–thoracic diseases treatment, such as Phillip 64 line 64 layer spiral CT and heart “heart shadow” ultrasound, Siemens 1250 ma flat DSA and Stocker extracorporeal circulation apparatus, U.S. Quenton sports load cardiograph measure and test system, Germany Drager anesthesia machine, breathing machine, patient monitor, Jaeger pulmonary function machine, Japan Olympus fiber-bronchoscope, and electro-gastro-scope, Germany Comeg thoraco-scope, U.S. full-automatic biochemistry apparatus, imported full sets of cardio-thoracic minimally invasive surgery treatment system, etc.
As a cardio-thoracic special hospital, Yodak not only sets up clinical offices such as cardiovascular internal medicine, respiration internal medicine, cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, tumor medicine, and medical technique offices such as radiation, pathology etc. but also launches serial cardio-thoracic operation projects including various congenital heart diseases minimally invasive surgery, heart valves routine replacement, off pump or on pump coronary bypass operation, atrial and ventricular septal defect repairing operation under the full thoraco-scope, and PTCA operation etc.
